Meet Matt, owner of King of Kanines.
Hello everyone! My name is Matthew Manchester and I am the founder and owner of King of Kanines. Throughout my childhood, I grew up with animals. My family had a golden retriever named Jesse, a Samoyed named Camille, a Tuxedo cat named Chloe, and an orange Tabby cat named Finnegan. I also worked at a stable with horses and always knew I had a connection with animals.
Following my graduation from West Virginia University, I moved to New York City. While pursuing my acting career, I began working in my first dog-related job as a doggy daycare worker, dog walker and pet sitter. I fell in love working with animals and decided to change my career path.
I later moved to Massachusetts and began working as a Veterinary Technician Assistant in the Boston area. While doing so, I also worked part-time pet sitting and dog walking. Soon after I created King of Kanines and walked my first official client, a Corgi named Ollie in Wellesley, MA. Today I walk and jog with dogs, dog sit, and take care of cats and rabbits all around the Metro West region around Boston.
In my free time, I enjoy skiing and hiking in New England, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.
